NAGAON: A big reformation is the need of the hour to make both indoor and outdoor games an integral part of school education as most of the educational institutions in the state are found paying less attention to that, said Nagaon Sports Association Secretary (Badminton) Anil Kumar Das while inaugurating a three month long badminton coaching camp today here at Nagaon Borghat Chariali based Seamark School.

In his inaugural speech, Das also stressed on physical and mental development of school students and reiterated that school authorities have a lot of things to do to make sports popular among the new generation students.

Nagaon Press Club President Jadav Saikia, badminton coach Pranjal Bora took part in the inaugural function as special guests.

Over 48 students of the school participate in the camp which will come to an end in October this year. The camp will follow a sub junior and cadet level tournament among the students. ‘Such types of coaching camps could bring out some players from country areas who could participate in state as well as national level tournaments in the days to come’ said Jadav Saikia, the president of Nagaon Press Club.
