Brahmaputra Boys win Assam T20 Challengers Trophy title

GUWAHATI: Brahmaputra Boys lifted the Assam T20 Challengers Trophy title defeating Dihing Patkai Riders by 9 wickets in the final held at the Amingaon Cricket ground here today. Krishna Das (3-11) and Rishav Das (54 no) played crucial roles in the victory of Brahmaputra Boys.

The closing ceremony of the tournament was held at the Amingaon Cricket Ground. It was attended by president and the secretary of the Assam Cricket Association Romen Dutta and Devajit Saikia respectively along with the other officials of the association.,

Brief scores: Dihing Patkai Riders 103 (20 overs), Pradyun Saikia 36, Nasir Ullah 24, Krishna Das 3-11, Rahul Singh 2-5, Brahmaputra Boys 104/1 (17.1 overs), Rishav Das 54(no), Rituraj Biswas 37(no).

Individual awards:Man of the final: Krishna Das (Brahmaputra Boys), Best Bowler - Dharani Rabha (Barak Bravehearts), Best Batsman- Rishav Das (Brahmaputra Boys), Player of the Tournament -Nipan Deka (Dihing Patkai Riders).
