Nuruddin Inter District Cricket Championship: 2nd day too washed out

GUWAHATI: The second day’s play between Guwahati and Silchar in the Nuruddin Inter District Cricket Championship washed out due to wet ground in Silchar today. The first day’s play was also not possible due to the same reason. Tomorrow is the last day and if the first innings of both the teams are not completed then both the sides would receive one point each and in that case Silchar (7 points) would move to the next round because of better position in the points table. Guwahati collected six points from their first game in the final round.
