Lyricist Kamal Hazarika passes away

GUWAHATI, Nov 16: Renowned composer and lyricist Kamal Hazarika, who wove a magical tapestry out of traditiol Assamese music and lyrics, died here in a city hospital following a brief illness. He was 92. He leaves behind his wife Dhira Hazarika, a son and a daughter, besides a host of relatives and well-wishers.
