2,243 COVID-19 positive cases in Assam

GUWAHATI: Assam on Friday recorded 128 new COVID-19 positive cases taking the tally of total number of infected persons to 2,243. Out of the total patients undergoing treatment at various hospitals 498 have been discharged after recovery so far. Meanwhile, at a review meeting at Lakhimpur Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the State Health Department can treat 5,000 COVID patients at a time.
