Assam: Inspection of veterinary hospitals on cards

GUWAHATI: Toeing the Gunotsav line in the Education Department, the State Government has now decided to inspect the veterinary hospitals to know the status of their infrastructure, manpower, deficiencies, etc.

At a meeting of the Department at the Assam Secretariat today, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Minister Atul Bora instructed the top officials of the department to form state-level observers’ squads for field inspection of the veterinary hospitals. Addressing the officials of the department, the minister said, “The government will examine the reports of field visits and take remedial measures. This will help the department with the study report at hand.
