Ajoy Phukan is a native of ChetiaPathar village, Chabua, in the Dibrugarh district of Assam. He is the son of Jiten Phukan. He is 33 years old. Phukan is a famous Assamese singer and music director in the Assamese music industry and has directed several popular songs like Iman Morom Kio Lage and O Meghali. In January 2021, Ajoy Phukan married Reba Phukan ceremoniously.

Education:

He has done his bachelors from Beltola College, under Guwahati University, in 2012.

Career and Politics:

On August 25, 2020, Ajoy Phukan joined the Congress Party (INC). Phukan is the Secretary of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee. He has sung songs that have political connotations. On March 9, Ajay Phukan filed nomination papers for Chabua (No. 121) Constituency with his supporters in Dibrugarh, Assam.
