Ajoy Phukan is a native of ChetiaPathar village, Chabua, in the Dibrugarh district of Assam. He is the son of Jiten Phukan. He is 33 years old. Phukan is a famous Assamese singer and music director in the Assamese music industry and has directed several popular songs like Iman Morom Kio Lage and O Meghali. In January 2021, Ajoy Phukan married Reba Phukan ceremoniously.

He has done his bachelors from Beltola College, under Guwahati University, in 2012.
Career and Politics:
On August 25, 2020, Ajoy Phukan joined the Congress Party (INC). Phukan is the Secretary of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee. He has sung songs that have political connotations.
