Horen Borgohain is a resident of Kapohuwa gaon (village) in the Sivasagar district of Assam. His age is about 45 years. He is the son of Anil Borgohain. He is married to Morikh Gogoi Borgohain.

Education:

Gogoi is an MD in Medicine Compound Homeopathy from Open University, Kolkata.

Career and Politics:

Horen Borgohain first contested Assam Assembly Election 2011 from the Mahmara constituency and lost to Sarak Saikia from Indian National Congress Party. He had also contested the 2016 Assam Assembly elections. He is contesting for the third time.

He is a Homeopathic doctor.
