Jayanta Borah is a resident of Kharashimalu village in Biswanath district of Assam. His age is about 37 years. He is the son of Khagen Borah and Rinu Borah. He is married to Sangeeta Saikia who is a businesswoman. The couple is blessed with a son, Bastav Borah.
Education:
Borah is a Class XII (HS) pass from Chariali H.S and Multi Purpose School, Biswanath Chariali, 2002 batch.
Career and Politics:
Jayanta Borah owns a tea factory named JRC Tea company. During the nationwide COVID lockdown in 2020, Borah distributed ration to 10,000 families across the rural areas of Behali in Sonitpur district.
This is the first he shall be contesting for Assam Election.
