Early Life:

Kushal Dowari was born in Bokata Khamun Gaon in Shivasagar on July 1, 1966. His father's name is Late AkonDowari and his mother's name is late PatoleeDowari. His permanent address is SivasagarPiolee Nagar, A.T Road, Sivasagar. He is married to Dipika KakotiDowari and is blessed with two sons.

Educations:

He is Class X (Matric) pass from Haripara Ghat High School, in the year 1984.

Career and Politics:

He is the former president and founder of Nabadeep Samay Bikash Manch, an NGO. He was a United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) militant.

He contested the Assam Assembly elections of 2006 and won the Thowraseat. But in 2011, he lost to Sushant Borgohain, an Independent candidate. He won the Thowra seat on a BJP ticket in the 2016 Assam Assembly elections. He is contesting for the fourth time.
