Early Life
Nazrul Islam is the son of Late Haji Amir Hussain. Presently, he resides in Daloni Juria, Nagaon. He is married to Noor Syeda Yaesmin. He is a businessman by profession, and also a social worker.
Education
He completed H.S.L.C. from Juria government aided High School in 1975, and H.S.S.L.C. from ADP College, Nagaon in 1975. He also completed Bachelor of Arts from ADP College in 1979..
Political Career
Nazrul Islam is contesting in the upcoming Assam State Legislature Assembly election, 2021. He is contesting the election from the Rupohihat constituency for the first time.
Controversy
He is charged with misappropriation of government funds under section 120B/409/468/420 of IPC, as per data furnished to the Election Commission of India.
