Early Life
Ramani Tanti is the son of Late Lilu Tanti. His place of birth is Mariani.
Education
He did his schooling from Gabhor Parbhat Bagicha School. After shifting to Jorhat, he completed his H.S.L.C. from Jorhat Government school.
Political Career
Ramani Tanti has been an active member of NSUI and Yuva Morcha of the Congress party. But he is contesting the upcoming polls from the Mariani seat on a BJP ticket. He took an active part in public meetings and always stressed the development of the local areas and welfare of the minor community. Tanti would be fighting for the seat against three-time MLA of Mariani Rupjyoti Kurmi. Tanti has always been supportive about the welfare of the tea community.
Tanti has no cases against him or any criminal record.
