Career & Politics
Taranga Gogoi would be contesting elections for the first time. He is up against Congress veteran Pranati Phukan and sitting MLA Naren Sonowal of AGP. He served as a secretary to the Executive committee of BJP party in Assam.
He also holds the Joint Secretary position in the Assam Olympic Association. He is said to be a loyalist of Assam Finance, Health, Education & PWD and senior BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sharma. First Time Candidate.
