Early Life

Terosh Gowala is the son of Kalindra Gowala and Sohodra Gowala. His place of birth is Borguri village in Dibrugarh district. He married Anima Gowala in 2002. He is an agriculturist by profession.

Education

He is an Arts graduate.

Career & Politics

Terosh Gowala is the sitting MLA of BJP from the Duliajan constituency. He sent his resignation letter to Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam, citing corruption in the appointment to a government position in public sector companies. On the advice of the CM, he withdrew his resignation.

Social Work

He is actively involved in various sporting activities like football and badminton.

He has no cases against him. Although he verbally abused an Assam traffic police official after he had parked his car in a no parking zone near PWD building in Chandmari.
