Amalendu Das from Barkhola: Early Life, Controversy & Political Career

Early Life:

Amalendu Das is a resident of Kumarpara in the Cachar district of Assam. His age is 48 years. He is the son of Late Atul Chandra Das. He is married to Leena Das.

Education:

He is a Class 12 (Higher Secondary) pass from Gurucharan College, Silchar, 1992 batch. He has a Diploma in Private Secretaryship (A Grade) from Donyi- Polo Mission, Arunachal Pradesh.

Career and Politics:

He is a retired Government Employee.

This is the first time he shall be contesting Assam Polls. Amalendu Das shall be contesting as a BJP candidate from the Barkhola constituency.

The gross total value of his assets is estimated at over 1.21 crore.
