Aminul Haque Laskar from Sonai: Early Life, Controversy & Political Career

Early Life:

Aminul Haque Laskar is a resident of Beranga Part II in Cachar district of Assam. His age is 55 years. He is the son of Late Hazi Ala Uddin Laskar. He is married to Zahida Sultana Laskar.

Education:

He is an Arts graduate from Madhab Chandra DasCollege, 1990.

Career and Politics:

Aminul Haque Laskar first got his ticket from AGP in 2001 to contest the Assam Assembly elections that year from the Sonai constituency. He lost to Anwar Hussain of the Samajwadi Party.

In the Assam Election 2006 Laskar, contesting on an AGP(P) ticket, lost again to Kutub Ahmed Mazumderof INC (Congress) party.

He won the Assam Polls of 2016. He defeated Anamul Haque of the INC (Congress) party.

This is the fourth time he shall be contesting the Assam polls.Animul Haque Laskar shall be contesting as a BJP candidate from the Sonai constituency.

The gross total value of his assets is estimated at over Rs 5 crore.
