Ananta Mohan Roy, 66 years, is a resident of Ganganagar village in the Cachar district of Assam. He is the son of Jogesh Chandra Roy. He is married to Shefali Bala Roy.

Education:

He is a Class X (Matric) pass from Bontarapur High school in the year 1975.

Career and Politics:

He is a home tutor (private tuitions) by profession.

This is the first time he shall be contesting the Assam Assembly Elections. Ananta Mohan Roy shall be contesting as an Independent candidate from the Dholai constituency.
