BhabeshKalita, 49, is a resident of Sutarkuchi, Kamrup, Assam. He is the son of Late Hangsha Ram Deka.

BhabeshKalita completed B.Sc from PragjyotishCollege in 1994 and LLB from University law College in the year 2001.

Career and Political Life:

BhabeshKalita is an Advocate by profession. He is the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Irrigation and Minister of State for Education. In this year's Assam Assembly Election 2021 he is going to contest as a BJP candidate from Rangia constituency. He is contesting for the second time on a BJP ticket fromRangia constituency.
