Abu Taher Bepari Biography
Abu Taher Bepari is a resident of Chagolia village (Pt-II), Golakganj in Dhubri district of Assam. He was born in the year 1968 to Late Jasamuddin Bepari and Okiman Bewa. He got married in the year 1995 and has two daughters.
Taher completed MA from Gauhati University in 1992.
Career and Politics:
Taher is a former two-time MLA (2011 and 2016) and ex-Congress politician from Golakganj constituency. He was expelled from the Congress party last month (March) on charges of anti–party activities. He is contesting the 2021 Assam Assembly Election from Golakganj constituency as an Independent Candidate.
According to the nomination filed with the Election Commission of India, his total movable assets are worth Rs. 2.35 crore.
