Aminul Islam is a resident of Chamaibeel Village, in South SalmaraMankachar District of Assam. He is the son of Late Abdus Sabur Sarkar. Aminul is 73 years old.

He is contesting the 2021 Assam Assembly Election from Mankachar constituency on a National People's Party (NPP) ticket.
