Gunindra Nath Das is the son of Late Satish Chandra Das. He is 60 years old and a resident of Ambarihat, Ward No-5, Barpeta.

Education

Gunindra Nath Das completed graduation from M.C college Barpeta in the year 1981.

Career and Politics

He is a businessman and has no criminal charge against him. He is the sitting MLA of Barpeta. contesting as a candidate from the Assam Gana Parishad Party from Barpeta constituency in the upcoming 2021 Assam Vidhan Sabha Elections. He has won the Barpeta seat twice on an AGP ticket, once in 2006 and again in 2016.

His movable assets are worth Rs. 2.20 crore His immovable assets include agricultural land with current market value of Rs.500,000 and non-agricultural land worth Rs.40 lakhs, commercial building worth Rs.75 lakhs. His residential building is worth Rs.1.35 crore.
