Hridayananda Gogoi is a resident of House No.36, Minakshi Path, Bamunimaidan, Guwahati in Kamrup (M) district of Assam. He is the son of Late Gobinda Chandra Gogoi. He is 49 years old. Hridayananda is married to Dr Neeva Rani Phukan. She is an Associate Professor at K.K. Handique State Open University.

He completed M.A from Gauhati University, 1994 batch.

Career and Politics:

He and is a writer and journalist. Gogoi is contesting the 2021 Assam Assembly Election from Dispur constituency on a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) ticket.
