Ruhit Basumatary is a resident of Pukhuripara village No -2, in Golaghat district of Assam. He is the son of Atul Basumatary. Ruhit is 30 years old.

Ruhit has completed his Bachelor of Arts from Nandalal Boragohain City College, Dibrugarh, 2014 batch.

Career and Politics:

He is contesting the 2021 Assam Assembly Election from Gossaigaon constituency on an Independent Candidate.
