Shahidur Alam is a resident of Bhurakata village in South Salmara, Mankachar district of Assam. He is the son of late Abdur Rohman. He is 63 years old and is a retired person (Pensioner).

Education:

He has completed B.A from Mankachar College, Mankachar under Gauhati University in 1981.

Career and Politics:

He is contesting the 2021 Assam Assembly Election from Mankachar constituency on a Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) ticket.
