Jalukbari Assembly Constituency is one of the 126 Assembly Constituency and its bears the Constituency number 51. It is a part of Gauhati Parliamentary Constituency. Himanta Biswa Sarma of BJP won the Vidhan Sabha election 2016 with the maximum number of votes and the runner up was Niren Deka of INC.
