ASSEMBLY CONSTITUENCY NAME AND NUMBER

Jalukbari Assembly Constituency is one of the 126 Assembly Constituency and its bears the Constituency number 51. It is a part of Gauhati Parliamentary Constituency. Himanta Biswa Sarma of BJP won the Vidhan Sabha election 2016 with the maximum number of votes and the runner up was Niren Deka of INC.


PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUENCY

Jalukbari falls under Gauhati Parliamentary Constituency. Queen Oja of the Bharatiya Janata Party became the winner of the Lok Sabha Election 2019 by securing 1008936 votes and Bobbeeta Sarma of the Indian National Congress party became runner up with 663330 votes.
