4 more people including a doctor from Guwahati found COVID positive, total cases 53 in Assam

Within a few hours Assam COVID-19 positive cases have reached 53 as 4 persons in Guwahati, reportedly, have been confirmed as infected by the dreaded virus, on Thursday night. As per reports, one of them has come from outside Assam, and is in-home quarantine, while 3 are from Guwahati. Informing this State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has tweeted that new coronavirus active cases in Assam are now18. On the other hand, 34 infected persons have been discharged from the hospital as they recovered from the pandemic. On the other hand the four persons tested positive are: a doctor from GMCH, a lady from Chnadmari locality, one from Birubari Cancer Institute Cleaners colony and one from the Sarusajai quarantine centre.
