4 more persons tested positive, COVID-19 tally reaches 49 in Assam

The corona pandemic situation in Assam has been seen deteriorating as four more persons have tested positive for the deadly virus. Revealing this State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, on Thursday night tweeted, "

4 persons, who took the same bus from Rajasthan in which the Cachar dist #COVID19 + person travelled, have tested positive too." Thereby, the number of total COVID-19 patients in the state now stands at 49, the Health Minister said. Till today afternoon it was 45. The Health Minister further said that

in Assam now total number of corona ️active cases is 14 and 34 infected people were discharged from hospitals as they recovered from the pandemic. However, one person died from the pandemic in the state.
