AASU, Morigaon seeks probe in selection of beneficiaries under PM-KISAN

MORIGAON: The activists of the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) Morigaon district committee on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner demanding judicial inquiry into the anomalies in selection of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) in the district. The organization said that there should be a probe into the beneficiary selection process as names of some unknown people had allegedly been included in the beneficiary list.
