Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad distributed masks to tea labourers

GOLAGHAT: As a protective measure against the dreaded coronavirus, the government has made it compulsory to wear face masks. But there are some poor people who are unable to buy masks. So to create awareness among such people about coronavirus and to provide masks to them, young social activist and former State executive member of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Anurag Chaliha visited Oating Tea Estate in Golaghat on Tuesday and distributed face masks to about 1,500 labourers working in the garden. Also, face masks were distributed to the villagers of two villages located near Oating Tea Estate by Chaliha and his associates.
