Badarpur government railway police arrested three at Dittackchera

HAFLONG: Finally the Badarpur government railway police arrested three persons on the charge of killing a school teacher. The teacher was killed in Dittakchhara on May 1. The railway police recovered the body of Ramakanta Dey, headmaster of Dittackchera Lower Michikur Lower Primary School, under the Jatinga railway bridge near Dittackchera in the evening of May 1 during the lockdown.

Since the incident happened near railway track, the Badarpur GRP then filed a case no 09/2020/ u/s 302/34 IPC and arrested Lalmulsam Kujur Jaggu Ghauri Dukku Hazam, three persons involved in Dey's murder case. All the three arrested are the residents of Harangajao siding basti. It is learnt that the accused have confessed in the police interrogation that they killed school teacher Ramakanta Dey for money and threw him under the railway bridge. Later these three killers were handed over to the police at Dittackchera on Friday.
