A CORRESPONDENT

BAKSA (Tamulpur): A review meeting was held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner on Monday with regard to ACSP activities and also about the various anomalies that had been reported by the Block PHC. The meeting was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner of Baksa in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baksa, Joint Director of Health Services, Baksa and other high-level officers. In the screening report it was observed that Jalah BPHC had been reporting the number of persons whose surveillance was done by ASHA workers and this needed immediate rectification. The actual report should report only those who had been screened by medical officers. All the SARI and ILI cases that had been identified must go for swab test the very next day. All the backlogs had to be completed immediately. To create more awareness among the community, leaflets need to be distributed.
