BJP felicitated frontline fighters against COVID-19 in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The Dhakuakhana district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday felicitated medical employees, police personnel, journalists and administrative employees who were the frontline fighters against the COVID-19 pandemic. Encouraging their work spirit and lauding the relentless services rendered by them towards humanity, the activists of Dhakuakhana BJP, Manila Morcha and Yuva Morcha feted the working doctors, nurses and Grade IV medical employees with gamosa at Dhakuakhana Civil Hospital. Then they feted the police personnel arriving at Dhakuakhana Police Station.

Moreover, the BJP and its brother-sister organization activists on the same day felicitated the administrative officials of the Dhakuakhana Subdivisional Office, Circle Office, Block Development Office along with many other government offices. On the other hand, the activists of Dhakuakhana District Youth Morcha distributed 200 face masks among the people. The organization also conducted an awareness programme on hand sanitization at Dhakuakhana town. Dhakuakhana district BJP president Pradip Chamuah, Yuva Marcha president Hemanta Gogoi and other dignitaries were present in the programmes.
