COVID-19 : One more tests positive in Assam, total cases rise to 43

The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Assam increased to 43 on Tuesday a day after the state government relaxed the ongoing lockdown norms in the Green Zones areas. Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that a person from Goalpara district has, on Tuesday tested positive for the deadly virus. Thereby, the total COVID-19 positive cases in the state increased to 43. However, the Health Minister appealed to people to not panic as the person is kept in containment.
