Dilip Kumar Borah takes over as new DC of Darrang district

MANGALDAI: Joint Secretary of the State Finance department, Dilip Kumar Borah on Wednesday took over as the 27th Deputy Commissioner of Darrang district. Dilip Kr. Borah, a dynamic officer of the Indian Administrative Service of 2012, has joined the district at a very crucial period arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic. On Wednesday, a number of social organizations, including Mangaldai Press Club, Seuji Asom, senior citizens and media persons accorded him a hearty welcome with phulam Bihuwan.

Talking to The Sentinel after taking over his charge as the administrative head of the district, newly joined Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Borah assured to concentrate on developmental matters related to the district and sought cooperation from all sections of the society with constructive suggestions.
