Himanta Biswa Sarma visits Sarusajai quarantine zone past midnight
Minister ensured COVID-19 screening, testing being done properly

Guwahati: Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the Sarusajai stadium, now a quarantine facility, to ensure that no person faces any inconvenience and all norms regarding screening and COVID-19 testing are being strictly adhered to.
"Post midnight yesterday, along with officials visited Sarusajai Stadium to review the well-being of those in quarantine. Among others, evaluated preparedness for screening, testing and food quality," Sarma tweeted.

Bus loads of people from places like Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Rajasthan, Siliguri and Vrindavan have been coming in and they are being tested and screened at Sarusajai. The facility has a capacity to accommodate at least 1000 people as a quarantine facility.
