ICMR accredited AMCH as Assam's 7th Covid-19 Testing Lab

In a piece of good news for Assam, the Indian Council of Medical Research(ICMR) has accredited the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) as a COVID-19 testing laboratory. Thereby, the state gets its seventh new coronavirus testing laboratory as the ICMR earlier recognised the other six labs as the detecting deadly virus labs. Revealing this State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, on Wednesday tweeted, " I am pleased to share that @ICMRDELHI has recognized Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh as an accredited lab for testing #COVID19. This bolsters our capabilities as the total number of labs now goes up to seven". Now onwards COVID-19 test will also be done at AMCH.
