Maintain social distancing: State BJP president Ranjit Das
The BJP State president and MLA of Sarbhog, Ranjit Das on Saturday urged people to maintain social distancing.

BARPETA: The BJP State president and MLA of Sarbhog, Ranjit Das on Saturday urged people to maintain social distancing.
Addressing a press meet, he urged media persons to make people understand about the pandemic situation. He also said that young children and aged people should remain at home for their safety. Use of masks is mandatory while going out of the house. Almost all the families got PDS rice and people staying in rental houses also got rice and dal. More than 28 people helped the poor during this lockdown.
Ranjit Das also paid a visit to noted writer of Barpeta, Gokul Pathak who is in a private nursing home due to ill health. Ranjit Das said that the works of Gokul Pathak would be preserved. Ranjit Das said that 2,000 copies of the 9th edition of Barpeta Xatrar Itihaas would be published by him.
