NDRF distributes dry ration at Maligaon in Kamrup district

GUWAHATI: Rescuers of 1st Battalion NDRF Guwahati under the supervision of 1st Bn NDRF Commandant Randhir Singh Gill, distributed more than 500 kgs of dry ration to 55 needy people in Paschim Boragaon Shiva nagar colony village at Maligaon in Kamrup district. NDRF medical team also carried out thermal screening of all villagers. NDRF rescuers also distributed food to more than 490 villagers at Nizsundarighopa & Bargaon Changsari villages under Kamrup district.
NDRF rescuers distributed dry ration in collaboration with United Sikh NGO Guwahati and food in collaboration with Amrit Bhog Bhandara Guwahati. During the programme, NDRF rescuers maintained proper social distancing & emphasized use of sanitizers against the pandemic spread of COVID-19, stated a press release.
