Government of Assam has given utmost importance upon the safety of the citizens while issuing pass for inter-state movement
Guwahati: The Government of Assam has given utmost importance upon the safety of the citizens while issuing pass for inter-state movement, GP Singh, ADGP (L&O) and head of the task force that is handling return of stranded people said.
In a tweet, the senior police official said, "The list of applicants for inter-state movement is long. We are issuing passes in a staggered manner in accordance with the receiving capacity of the state. Safety of the citizens and incoming persons is of utmost importance to us." Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic situation has worsened in the state by the day.
