34 Kilos of Marijuana seized at Guwahati Railway Station, Peddler Arrested

Guwahati: Assam police and the Government Railway Police (GRP) today arrested a drug peddler identified as named Subhuraj Debbarma while he was trying to smuggle in the contraband drugs, Marijuana into Guwahati. Police managed to nab the peddler after a thorough search operation was carried out today following a tip-off at the Guwahati Railway Station.

Approximately 34 kilograms of marijuana was seized at Guwahati Railway Station from Rajdhani Express. As per the police sources, the cache of Marijuana was being shifted From Agartala to Delhi.
