AABYSF demands prices of essential items, fuel to be decreased
DEMOW, May 29: The recent hike in fuel prices as well as the prices of essential commodities has created problems for people. Rabindra Ghosh, secretary of All Assam Bengali Youth Students’ Federation (AABYSF), Sivasagar District Committee, said that before coming to the power, the present government had promised to check price hike but this did not happen.
“Price hike of petrol and diesel and essential commodities has made it difficult for the people to survive. This is the parivartan that the BJP government has brought,” said Horesh Kar, president of AABYSF Demow Regional Committee.
Raj Ghosh, secretary of AABYSF Demow Regional Committee, demanded that price hike should be checked and prices of fuel and essential commodities should be decreased immediately or the organization would launch an agitation in the days to come.
