GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), June 27 : The executive meeting of All Assam Scheduled Caste Students’ Union of Golaghat district committee was held at Moitri Sangha recently. The meeting was presided over by Dhruba Jyoti Bharali, president of the organization. In the meeting various decision were taken. In the meeting, AASCSU took a decision to organize a felicitation programme for meritorious students in the month of July and the AASCSU would hold its convention within the three months. In the meeting, five members of the organization were expelled from the organization for alleged involvement in illegal activities. The expelled members are Hemanta Das, Dibyajyoti Das, Pranju Das, Bikash Das and Lakheswar Das.
