Body of youth recovered

NAGAON, May 22: With the aid of some fishermen, Nagaon Sadar Police recovered the body of youth from Kolong river near Madhupur Amtala in Nagaon town. According to sources, the deceased was identified as Sanjb Dey. The sources added further that Dey was a small-scale businessman and had been missing since Sunday evening. But on Tuesday morning when some local fishermen spread their net for fishing, instead of fish, the body of the youth came out. The fishermen immediately informed the local police and police rushed to the spot and recovered the body. The family of the deceased claimed that it was a pre-planned murder but police said that it looked like a case of suicide. Police have started investigation.
