Country-made liquor seized

RANGIA, May 16: A team of Railway Protection Force (RPF) seized nearly 500 litres of country-made liquor at Rangia railway station from platform no.5 on Tuesday morning. According to the OC RPF, Asoke Das, the liquor was about to be ferried to Guwahati via Rangia - Dibrugarh train by some women. As per reports, some women involved in the business reportedly escaped from the scene leaving the liquor abandoned at the station. Police later destroyed the liquor.
