Dibrugarh, May 14: In a first in the Upper Assam region, an aviation-cum-hospitality training academy has joined hands with a reputed college in a bid to provide training to the college students and make them ready for the fast-growing aviation as well as hospitality industry. In an event held recently, DHSK College entered into an understanding with RB Aviation Academy (RBAA), whereby the latter has agreed to offer its services in the premises of DHSK College to help students make a thriving career in aviation and hospitality.

Inaugurating the event, Executive Director of RBAA, Shakshi A. Singh said that the academy was planning to extend its services to other parts of the north-eastern region too. In his speech, MD of RBAA, Sanjeev A. Bora, said that earlier youth had to travel to places like Guwahati, and also outside the State, in pursuit of quality training. But things would change for the better now.

Expressing a sense of happiness over the collaboration, Principal of DHSK College, Dr. Sashi Saikia held the occasion to be momentous for it would be of great benefit to the ones who were always inclined towards the said industries but had to sideline their ambitions in the absence of proper guidance. He asserted that now the interested students could gain immensely from the training, and would be able to live their dreams and earn handsomely. The training academy, as per sources, would offer diploma courses on aviation and hospitality, besides providing a short-term course on spoken English.
