Educational awareness programme

Dhekiajuli, July 1: An educational awareness and meritorious students felicitation programme was held at Dhiraimajuli near Dhekiajuli under Dhekiajuli revenue circle under the aegis of Dhekiajuli Samasti Nagarik Moncha on Saturday. The programme was held at the Loka Nayak Omeo Kumar Das Middle English School campus. Participating in this programme, Marami Kurmi Mahatoo, the Block Elementary Education Officer, Dhekiajuli Education Block, said that sacrifices and hard labour were keystones to achieving success in the life and the student community should go forward with these ethics.

The programme was presided over by Narayan Phayel, the secretary of Dhekiajuli Samasti Nagarik Mancha, and Dr Sukdeb Adhikari, the Principal of LOKD College, attended the meeting as a guest. In this programme, the meritorious students were felicitated with a phulam gamosa, a citation and a packet of books. Several local school teachers and headmasters were also felicitated.
