Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations

Guwahati: President Ram Nath Kovind greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, on Twitter wishing joy & mutual goodwill among the people of India. Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, during which people do a 30-days-long fast & greet their friends and relatives, and exchange gifts. Shahi Imam Bukhari of Jama Masjid declared that the moon was sighted yesterday at around 7.35pm.
