Girl allegedly molested & thrown out of car in Lakhimpur, Accused Arrested

Guwahati: In a shocking incident, a girl was allegedly molested inside a car and was thrown out later in the evening hours in North Lakhimpur on Tuesday.

The accused who belong to North Lakhimpur, fled and kept his phone switched off, however, OC PGR’s immediate actions have led to the arrest of the accused person namely Nurul Haq Ali S/O Kuddus Ali, Vill: 2no Parbatipur, PS: Bihpuria, Dist- Lakhimpur.

Meanwhile, a case was registered for PGR PS C/No 38/20 under section 342/328/354(a)/307/506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) R/W 67 (A) IT act.
