Hate Messages on Social Media Instigated Mob Lynching

Guwahati: Altogether 13 mob lynchers have been arrested by Assam Police for spreading hate messages on social media before & after the incident in Karbi Anglong. A Suo-motu case against Mangaldoi’s Subrajit Kashyap is up for posting fake news and photos of child lifters on FB. One Pradip Das arrested for spreading violent & abusive message on FB, under IPC 153(A)/506 & R/W section 67 IT Act.
