Silchar, May 13: The fate of those languishing in the detention camps hangs in balance. Their life has been imprisoned and their human rights violated. Human Protection and Awareness Organization (HPAO), Kolkata, has filed Public Interest Litigation (PIL) through Article 32 in the Supreme Court for the people who have been languishing in the 6 detention camps in the state of Assam. This information has been shared at a press release issued by director of the organization, Raju Ghosh. It has been mentioned no concrete steps have been taken to deport the detainees who have finished their term. Government, it seems, have turned blind towards them.
